are owned by Chess Education and Technology S.L. (CET).
CET is a company that specializes in chess with some of the most important brands
of the market: the Miguel Illescas Chess School (EDAMI),
the chess magazine Peón de Rey,
and Ajedrez21, the most popular
Spanish chess portal. We also have a
Shop that offers a wide range of chess products.
Created in 1999, CET’s President and founder member is Miguel Illescas Córdoba,
International Grand Master and several times Spanish Champion. He contributes to
the direction of the company with his extensive experience in all types of activities
related to chess and offers his personal guarantee to the quality of the service
that CET offers to its clients.
CET has also a large experience in the development of chess projects related to
the internet: we are the creators of the educational chess portal
JaqueMate, owned by Fundación Telefónica and we also manage the Latin American
section of the Internet Chess Club (ICC)
, the world’s main online chess club.
