Boris Zlotnik is here it foams chess. In 1963 he got a place to study at the prestigious school of Mikhail Botvinnik, the patriarch of Soviet chess, where Karpov and Kasparov later studied. There he obtained an exceptional training, which he developed as a teacher at the National Institute of Physical Education (INEF) in Moscow and at the Spanish University of Distance Education (UNED), when he emigrated to Spain in 1993. He was also the coach of American champion Fabiano Caruana, who moved to Madrid to train with him. In addition to the countless articles for newspapers and magazines, he wrote the Half Game Manual, another essential resource for the development and advancement of this sport.
