(CET), C/Francisco Giner 42, 08012 Barcelona, Spain, where the applicant is based. The products in our catalogue include the relevant taxes and are shown in euros, unless otherwise stated.

Availability of articles

For destinations outside the European Union, only books are served.

For Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla only books are served, order maximum 2 kg.

The product characteristics, availability and price will be displayed on the screen. The items will be available for sale until stocks run out. 

Ajedrez21 has a stock control system, and the customer is informed about product availability in real time, but there is no guarantee that the information provided is 100% accurate. 

If it were the case that a customer buys a product that was actually sold out in our warehouse, Ajedrez21 will allow the customer to choose whether to wait for the product to be available, exchange it for a similar one or request the subsidy, which we will provide as soon as possible. 

Prices and offers

Delivery times

The delivery of the products will be made by means of a transport agency with the orders properly packed, according to the needs of each product.

Ajedrez21 ship the products ordered in accordance with the information provided when placing the order. It shall not be liable where delivery cannot be effected due to the absence of the addressee or an error in the information supplied. The costs of the failed shipment and its subsequent return shall be borne by the customer.

Customs formalities

Ajedrez21 it sells its products duty-free to countries outside the European Union. The customs authorities of those countries may apply customs duties. Refunds

The buyer may withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) working days from the date of receipt of the product by notifying our offices by e-mail to shop@ajedrez21.com. This right may be exercised in respect of one, several or all of the items received.

Returns must be sent together with the original package insert accompanying the product to the following address: Chess Education and Technology S.L., C/Francisco Giner 42, 08012 Barcelona, Spain, where the applicant is domiciled. The rules governing refunds are those laid down in Law No 7/96 of 15 January 1996.

Returns will not be accepted unless the product is in its original packaging and in perfect condition. Products that can be reproduced or copied immediately (DVD) should be returned with the original retractable plastic. The right of cancellation or withdrawal cannot be exercised in respect of personalised products (e.g. a dedicated book) unless the product has arrived in bad condition. Returns of downloadable products are not accepted.

The buyer must bear the cost of returning the goods and send them safely for transport. Once the goods have been received and checked, Ajedrez21 refund the amount paid by the customer when placing the order. The refund shall be made by the same means of payment as that used to place the order.

Where the order was sent free of charge and the minimum quantity required is not reached by applying a partial discount, Ajedrez21 may pass on the shipping costs of the order, deducting their amount from the payment to be made.
