The Chess Player's Mating Guide Vol.2 - Weakened kingside

Typical ideas for exploiting the king's position without castling were shown in the first volume of "The Chess Players Mating Guide" series. In the second volume, attention will be paid to the castling king and specifically how to exploit a weakened short castling. Well-known themes, pawn formations and other attacking weapons are covered in 8 chapters with the goal of challenging the viewer to identify and exploit weaknesses. IM Robert Ris has made an interesting selection of famous games and his own practice to demonstrate the typical ideas when it comes to taking advantage of the weaknesses in the pawn chain that defends short castling. The selected material is a good warm-up for the exercises at the end to test your understanding of the subject. By then he will at least be able to say that he is on his way to becoming a dangerous attacking player like Tal, Alekhine, Fischer or any of his other favorites. Watch, learn and enjoy!
