Typical mistakes by 1600-1900 players

As national head coach of the English Chess Federation, I coach many improving players and see some typical mistakes repeated. In this DVD I have taken a large collection of games played by chess players who mostly have an Elo between 1600 and 1900 and I have looked for typical errors. I have dissected these examples into various topics, such as "Forced Line Calculation Errors," "Being Too Materialistic," and "King's Safety" among others. Each topic has several examples to show typical mistakes and there are several tests throughout the DVD so that the viewer can try to find the best play in certain positions. This should be a great tool for players to use to improve their midgame and endgame. You will also be expected to highlight any areas you need to work on to improve quickly. Enjoy the DVD!
