1.e4 e5 - An active Repertoire for Black
(""1.e4 e5, an active repertoire for Black"") For young and developing players, very important advice is to study open positions and understand the value of coordinating the pieces plus the role of the center. Those goals can be achieved by simply responding to 1.e4 with 1...e5. Some players argue that these positions are not sharp and interesting enough and believe that different Sicilians should be chosen, but that is not completely correct. The idea of this DVD is to show that 1.e4 e5 can be enormously entertaining and that Black can achieve interesting counterplay in all openings. Two lines are proposed in the Hispaniola systems and the most active alternatives against other white options. Video footage: 6 hours 48 minutes.
