The old maxim of classifying openings with 1.e4 as tactical and more dangerous as opposed to the more positional and peaceful openings with 1.d4 no longer reflects the modern world of chess openings. This repertoire DVD is the fruit of a lifetime's experience, as the author Lubomir Ftacnik actively uses it in practice. The system gives all white players the option to finely adjust the level of exposure and risk, from the main lines of all major openings with 1.d4 and 1.c4 to the concept of playing all black variants with a time of advantage, like the King's Indian with the colors changed.
