Chess Endgames 9 - Rook and Minor Piece

Rook and minor piece versus rook and minor piece endings occur very frequently, even more than pure rook endings, but there is not much written about them. This new DVD fills that void. The four possible combinations of material are addressed (rook and knight against rook and knight, rooks and bishops of different colors, rooks and bishops of the same color and rook and bishop against rook and knight). The last configuration has been divided into two chapters, since that the endings in which the bishop is better are completely different from those in which the knight seeks victory. Additionally, the endgame expert examines some four-rook positions to dissect the all-important aspect of correct rook exchange.
